Before the 1988 Winter Olympics, this hill was where Calgarians came to ski. Now Canada Olympic Park (COP) is active year-round.  Mountain biking, luge rides, bungee trampolining, outdoor wall climbing, and mini golf are featured in the summer. Also, unique to COP in the summer,  is Z-Trip, a ride in which 2 people can harness inside a 10 foot tall inflatable ball and roll over 550' down the slopes.  In the winter, you can go cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding.  If that's not exciting enough, you can go off the 90-meter ski jump tower on a zipline; in the winter, visitors can also go down the 1500 meter bobsleigh track at speeds of up to 120 km/h. The Olympic Halll of Fame and Museum (admission $6 as of August 2008) and audio tours of the Olympic venues (ski jump towers, bobsleigh/luge tracks; $16) are available year round. The audio tour includes admission to the Olympic museum, the Ice House (year-round bobsleigh & luge start training facility), and the 90m ski jump tower, and is available in English, French, German, Japanese, and Mandarin.  You can, if you choose, visit only the 90m tower ($6).
