It should be noted that Discount Car Rental is not located on the airport property; however there is a convenient shuttle from the airport to the company’s location for visitors who wish to make use of this option.

Taxis are not a preferred option for the area, although they are sometimes used.   They can be hired at the Calgary airport for transportation to Lake Louise but are pricey because of the distance.   They can be hired within Lake Louise but they are not seen readily driving down the street, so visitors will have to call for one in advance.   For visitors who arrive in the area and do not rent a car, taxis are sometimes a preferred option for day tours around the area.
