Celebrate Family: A sample itinerary

Day 1:  Devote several hours to the impressive Interactive Aquarium at La Isla Shopping Center.  Begin in the giant aquarium where divers answer questions about the sharks and tropical fish swirling about in the tank.  Swim with dolphins or feed stingrays.  Visit the activity centers lining both the beach and the lagoons.  Wave Runners, jet skis, catamarans and sailboats are all available for rent. 
  
Day 2:  Bring the kids to Wet 'n Wild, the only water park in Cancun. Wet´n Wild, also known as Parque Nizuc, is the perfect place to spend a fun day with your family. This wonderful water park features several attractions, such as: The Twister, Buba Tub, Double Space bowl, Lazy River, Bobble-up, the wave pool, live music and lots more.
 
Day 3:  Board a wildly colorful bus to Xcaret, a one-of-a-kind theme park designed to entertain and enlighten kids of all ages.  Talk to scarlet macaws in the aviary, let butterflies perch on your shoulders in the gardens, float down an underground river with tiny fish.  Nap in a hammock under shady palms in the afternoon, or watch folkloric dancers. 
  
Day 4:  Now take the kids to the real ruins at Tulum.  Hire a guide and take your time exploring temples, murals and carvings or the mysterious upside-down Descending God.  Devote the rest of the day to Xel-Ha. Xel-Ha is the perfect spot for snorkeling and relaxing. This natural aquarium is famous for its thousands of brightly colored tropical fish and the dramatic limestone formations. Here you will be able to explore creeks, lagoons and caves fed by subterranean rivers. In Xel-Ha you can experience the adventure of swimming with dolphins. Day 5:  Enjoy the beach and pool at your hotel.  Ride bright yellow banana boats over small, bumpy waves, snorkel close to shore, join an impromptu water volleyball game in the hotel pool, or enjoy an arts and crafts class.  Climb aboard a cruise at sunset and journey to a secret island where swashbuckling pirates perform spooky skits after dark.
