Here is the problem: After spending an entire day lying out in the sun, playing in the ocean and exploring the town, some people struggle to find the energy for experiencing Mazatlan’s great nightlife to its fullest.  Maybe not the worst problem in the world, but one that needs to be addressed.  The fact is, nightlife here is truly great, and those looking for a memorable evening out should save energy for after the sun goes down.

With loads of discos, bars and clubs, Mazatlan has something to offer every type of night owl and party animal.

The music heard throughout the scene is quite diverse, ranging from easy listening tunes at piano bars, to chest pumping, bass driven beats heard at many of the clubs and discos.  For an authentic Mexican experience, ask your hotel receptionist where to find one of the many places to hear mariachi groups or sonorous tambora bands.

Most of Mazatlan’s nightlife is found in Fiesta Land, located at the northern end of the Malecon.  This area is easily found and can be spotted from most local beaches.
