Anyone not familiar with Mazatlan should be aware that it is one of Mexico's premier fishing destinations. Not only is it famous for the delicious crustacean harvested and served fresh at most restaurants, Maztaln offers more than shrimp. It has some of the best fishing waters on the coast with Bonita, Dolphin, Shark, Marlin and Sailfish regularly caught. There are two marinas, one to the north and one to the south of the city. Prices are reasonable, starting at $325 USD for about 6- 8 hours on the water.
