The main shopping area for tourists in Freeport is at Port Lucaya Marketplace.  Here there are dozens of shops selling souvenirs, clothes, handicrafts, and art, as well as a well-stocked straw market.  It is located across the street from the Our Lucaya Resort.  There is still shopping at the International Bazaar, though it is only a shell of what it once was before the closing of the Royal Oasis resort in the aftermath of Hurricane Frances in 2004.  It still has about 20 shops, and some bargains can be had.

Across from City Market in Downtown Freeport is a small vendors market where you can buy handicrafts, as well as locally grown produce.  Downtown Freeport is full of shops and strip malls, not generally visited by tourists.  If you have a car, you can find many good locally owned clothes and variety stores, but it is normally not on most tourists' radar, and isn't really set up for tourists.
