The performing arts are ubiquitous in Freeport. Most of the night scene revolves around live bands of Bahamian and reggae music. In addition, there are two non-profit organizations, the Freeport Players' Guild and the Grand Bahama Players, that stage cultural productions at the Regency Theater constantly throughout the year. For information and a schedule, you can call 242-352-5533.

The country club at Bahamia features a native show, the Goombaya Show, every Tuesday and Saturday at 6:30pm. The cost is $45 per person. You can contact 242-352-7000 for more information.

For live bands and D.J.s go out to Club Amnesia for a night. This night club has great local music, a fun crowd and a full bar.

For more fun at your fingertips, Count Basie Square in nearby Lucaya is an area filled with bars that offer live entertainment with local bands, native performances as well as limbo dancers that encourage audience participation.
