The Ins and Outs of  Grand Turk Accommodations

Finding out about the accommodations on Grand Turk can be impossible even for the best detective.  Travel books and guides don’t list many accommodations for Grand Turk.  Information found on-line can be even more confusing.  It's helpful to have a list of the accommodations on Grand Turk and a little background info about them.  Included is a list of accommodations on Grand Turk and a brief description of where they are.  Hopefully none have been missed.  No prices or star ratings have been included.  There really are no 5 star accommodations on Grand Turk but that's what makes the island unique.  Grand Turk is a quaint little island with antique buildings and gorgeous views from nearly every place.  It’s not at all like it’s sister island, Provo, which is more Florida like.

Beach Front Accommodations

Osprey Beach Hotel - Tropical décor. Some beachfront rooms. Some more modest rooms for lower prices across the street.  On the beach.  Restaurant. Pool (Though the restaurant surrounds the pool so you may not want to swim there).  Located on picturesque Duke St.  In town.

Bohio Resort - Typical hotel rooms, some with ocean views.  On the beach. Restaurant. Pool.  Beach activities.  Located outside of town.  Need transportation to town.

Crabtree Apartments - Island décor, 2 bedroom apartments.  On the beach.  In a residential area.  Walking distance to town.

Aqua House - Florida décor, 2 bedroom apartments.  On the beach.  In a residential area.  Walking distance to town.

White Sands Beach Resort - Florida décor, 1 bedroom apartments.  On the beach. Pool. Restaurant.  On the south tip of the island next to the cruise ship pier.  Located outside of town.  Need transportation to town.

Accommodations Across the Street from the Beach

Manta House - Island/African theme décor.  Apartments and rooms.  Beach across the street.  Restaurant across the street.  Located on the picturesque Duke St.  In town.

Salt Raker Inn - Simple Island décor.  Value priced.  Beach across the street.  Restaurant.  Located on the picturesque Duke St.  In Town.

Seabreezes Inn - Simply decorated apartments.  Beach across and down the street. Located on the picturesque Duke St.  In Town.

Turks Head Mansion -  Antique Mansion.  Across the street from the beach.  Located on the picturesque Duke St.  In Town.

Grand Turk Inn - Island décor.   Five oceanview suites.  In town on Front St.   Four Star rating given by Turks and Caicos Tourism Bureau.

Salinas Houses -  Wooden houses.  Simple décor.  A block from the beach.  Restaurant nearby.  May be considered walking distance to town but it is probably a 20 minute walk.

Other Accommodations 

Island House - Island décor.   1 bedroom suites and studios.  Ocean view.  Pool.  Outside of town but they have a vehicle for their guest to use.

Arches of Grand Turk - Island décor.  Apartments that accommodate 6.  Ocean view.  Outside of town on the hill.  Need transportation to get to beaches and town.
