The island of Bequia has a tropical climate, which means that the weather is consistently warm throughout the year. A distinct dry season and rainy seasons split up the year.
Throughout the year, there is little fluctuation in the island’s temperatures, as during the hottest and coldest months, the daily average highs are 85, and 82-degrees respectively. Throughout the year, one can expect the nighttime temperatures to drop to the mid 70’s.
Although the temperatures are fairly stable throughout the year, the precipitation is not. The dry season of the year is from January through May, while the rainy season is from July to November. During the dry season, the island sees most of its tourism, as hotels get booked and beaches get crowded. The wet season is a good time to visit during if cloud cover and sporadic rainstorms are not a problem. Crowds have thinned out, and many hotels will offer discounts to their guests during the off season. However, certain establishments close during the wet season, opening again in the dry.
