Smugglers Cove Beach is beautiful and the ocean is like glass with very pristine sands.

It is a very common amongst visitors to do a sailing trip around the BVI for sightseeing and snorkeling.  Some great companies to do this with are Patouche, Kuralu, The Moorings, Sunsail, Aristocat and Swain Sailing.  Many powerboat and sailing charters include a lunch and snorkel gear and many times free beverages and rum punch. Popular locations for snorkeling via boat are The Indians, The Caves, Cooper Island, The Baths - found on Virgin Gorda, also it is recommended going on land and exploring the caves and beautiful beaches there, Green Cay, Sandy Cay, Bitterend and many more.

There are a number of ferrys one may also take to Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and St. John/St. Thomas (you will have to go through customs to enter the USVI and then again when re-entering the BVI) which are all great locations for a day trip and exploring. Another island which is great to sail or power boat to is Anegada, which has great SCUBA Diving, snorkeling, lunch on shore and is an interesting island because of its flat nature and spectacular reef.
