One of the main activities in Montserrat is bird watching. For those who love to meander through nature and catch glimpses of magnificent, rare and exotic birds, Montserrat is the place to go, especially for those who prefer to do this in private. Since tourism is still picking back up in Montserrat, travelers will find much freedom and little collision with other humans while traversing the hiking trails. Birds such as the Cattle Egret, Gray Kingbird, Zenaida Dove and the Scaly-Naped Pigeon can be seen throughout the island.
