Fort Frederick St Georges Grenada was built on Richmanhill by the French in the 1700's. It's also a water reservoir used to supply the surrounding areas of the prision, and mental hospital in the 70's.
There is a beautifull panormic view of the harbour of St George, overlooking St Pauls. There is also a short cut at the back of the fort to La Borie. St Paul's children used it as a short cut. You can walk down Morne Jaloux Road to Tanteen in St George's and see the beautifull surrounding gardens.
There is a also a weather station on the top of the fort and water.
