Barbados is the best air-serviced destination in the Eastern Caribbean.

 From the United States, American has two daily non-stop flights from Miami International (MIA) and a daily flight from New York's John F Kennedy International (JFK). Delta has a thrice weekly flight from Atlanta's Hartsfield International Airport (ATL). Air Jamaica has a daily flight from New York's JFK. US Airways has services between Barbados and Charlotte and Barbados and Philadelphia which change quite often. Please click here for US Airways' Timetable. ). American Eagle operates a daily service from San Juan's Luis Munoz Marin International (SJU). Overall, American Airlines provides the best options to visit Barbados from the USA and the airline has been serving Barbados faithfully for more than 40 years. If your coming from Los Angeles LAX, Seattle, Phoenix, Houson, Honolulu or Maine....American will get you there.

 From Canada, Air Canada has a daily service from Toronto's Pearson International (YYZ). Between December and April, this is increaed to nine times weekly from Pearson (YYZ) and twice weekly from Montreal's Trudeau (YUL). There are also seasonal charters from Zoom Airlines as well as Sky Service. Convenient and economical connections are also available on American Airlines via Miami.

 From the United Kingdom. British Airways has a daily service from London's Gatwick North Terminal (LGW). On Thursdays and Saturdays between November and April, British Airways will have two daily flights from London Gatwick. From March 28th 2007, British Airways will operate a 10 weekly flights to compensate for the loss of BWIA West Indies Airways. Virgin Atlantic has a daily service from London Gatwick's South Terminal (LGW). Virgin Atlantic has a once weekly flight from Manchester's Ringway International (MAN) which is on Sundays. BMI has a thrice weekly service from Manchester's Ringway (MAN) and this is on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. BMI also offers convienent connections from Scotland and Heathrow to Manchester.  First Choice visits from Manchester's Ringway every other Thursday. Excel Airways visits Barbados every Friday from London's Gatwick (LGW) this is a direct flight.  It no longer goes via Manchester's Ringway (MAN).  Excel now offer flights from Gatwick on Tuesdays via St. Lucia.  Charters are available seasonally from Monarch and Thomas Cook.

 From Europe. Condor visits every Friday from Frankfurt, Germany. There is also a direct weekly flight by Martinair from Amsterdam Holland (AMS).

 From the Caribbean. Air Jamaica and Caribbean Airlines have daily flights from both Montego Bay's Norman Manley International (MBJ) and Kingston's Sansgter International Airport (KIN).

Caribbean Star , Caribbean Sun and LIAT provide flights some of which are not non-stop from Antigua, Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, Trinidad, Tobago, Turks and Caicos, Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Anguilla.

Caribbean Airlines provides daily flights daily from Trinidad's Piarco International (POS) and Antigua's V.C.Bird International (ANU).

PLEASE NOTE:

BWIA West Indies Airways will shut down completely on December 31st 2006. A new airline, Caribbean Airlines will be born on January 1, 2007.

All BWIA passengers ticketed after January 1st, 2007, will fly on Caribbean Airlines.
