I'm told that the Firehouse is under new management / ownership, and the format has been changed. I was there last week, and had a very pleasant visit. The historic brick late 19th century building...more

Two fine places to eat in Barre are "Mr. Z's" and "The Farmer's Diner." Downtown just above the park is the Vermont Historical Museum with a statue of Robert Burns in the front lawn. Go up Quarry...more
