Wigtown, in the Galloway Machars, is not one of the places that immediately spring to mind for a holiday in Scotland. Those who have heard of it, most likely know it as Scotland's National Booktown,...more

If you really like books and it's a sunny day, head to Wigtown. It poured whilst we were there and we'd not expected the town to consist solely of the book stores (pretty much), not worth travelling...more
