Fort Wayne, IN

Stopped here after arriving at the airport since it's right on National Rd. A bit confusing to find- name is on the strip mall sign, but there is also a "Stubbies" sports bar in the _same_ strip...more

An old, tired motel. While clean, it really is old. On the plus side: close to DAY, free shuttle to airport, quiet, really cheap. more

Super 8 Vandalia / Dayton International Airport

No frills, but clean and pleasant facility. It is nothing fancy, but friendly front-desk, and great for the money. more

Destinations of the Day
Madrid, Spain
  • Resident population: 2,905,100 Annual visitors: 3,921,000 (est.)
  • Major features: art museums, cultural events, bullfighting, nightlife
  • 27,557 TripAdvisor reviews of 864 accommodations, 316 attractions and 2,644 restaurants
Strolling through Madrid is a great way to see the lavish Royal Palace, the 16th-century Puerta del Sol (Sun's Gate) marking the center of Spain, the old Moorish quarter of Moreria and much more.
Acapulco, Mexico
  • Resident population: 616,394 Annual visitors: 5,000,000 (est.)
  • Major features: beaches, water sports, nightlife
  • 4,029 TripAdvisor reviews of 285 accommodations, 68 attractions and 134 restaurants
Mountain views, raucous nightlife and a C-shaped bay with a plethora of beaches make Acapulco a more upscale, yet reasonably priced, escape than its spring-break cousin, Cancun.
Bangkok, Thailand
  • Resident population: 5,658,953 Annual visitors: 10,350,000 (est.)
  • Major features: temples, palaces, nightlife
  • 32,130 TripAdvisor reviews of 718 accommodations, 202 attractions and 621 restaurants
Bangkok is a city to overload the senses. Streets are crowded by tuk-tuks (motorized tri-shaws) and the occasional elephant weaving through congested traffic.
Miami Beach, Florida

  • Major features: nightlife, beaches, shopping, art museums
  • 26,378 TripAdvisor reviews of 363 accommodations, 71 attractions and 403 restaurants
South Beach, or SoBe, is Miami Beach's buzziest bit. The vibrant area, with its pastel-hued buildings, hip nightclubs, trendy shops and see-and-be-seen restaurants, attracts socialites and their satellites year-round.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Resident population: 1,422,000 Annual visitors: 6,120,000 (est.)
  • Major features: shopping, historic sites, beaches, nightlife, golf courses
  • 16,610 TripAdvisor reviews of 493 accommodations, 73 attractions and 383 restaurants
With its ultramodern skyline, it's easy to forget that Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates, was once a small town of Bedouin traders.
