I love Franklin, NC. It is often a destination for me when getting on or off the Appalachian Trail. Franklin is close to Cherokee, NC, so most people pass by town on the bypass. They are missing...more

if you have not tried this do it .its the most fun to dig in the dirt also the area has 10 to20 waterfalls within 10 miles of the area more
