We attended the Tulip Festival on Thursday, May 1, 2008. It was not at all what we had expected. We travelled from Eau Claire, Wisconsin which was about 6 hrs of driving. I had never been to Iowa...more

Let's face it - if you are driving through Iowa - you have time to stop and sniff the tulips. I have been to Amsterdam, and in Pella they recreated one street to be a very, very good representation...more

A very pretty village with windmills and flower gardens everywhere. People there are very friendly and it's not too hard to find your way around. Make sure you check out the Vermeer Windmill and the...more
