A great town for railfans. The viewing platform and scanner adjacent to the RR tracks was clean, safe and fun. Lots of other railfans and familoes gather on-and-off through the day making for good...more

Folkston is a wonderful place to visit even if your not a railfan. But if you are then you will be in heaven. I visited Folkston for the first time last year and I must say it was unbelieveable seeing...more

Folkston is a great place to visit, especially if you are into trains. The town has built a special railfanning platform with a scanner, and even spotlights for watching trains at night-time. An...more
