California Wildfires
Almost all residents and workers have been evacuated from the popular scenic region of Big Sur. A 30-mile stretch of coastal Highway 1 has been closed. The blaze has already burned more than 64,000 acres of forest. Another major fire in the Ventana Wilderness and the Los Padres National Forest has also forced evacuations.

Super Buffet
Lunch is cheap, there are 2 buffets full of selections, and an entire wall of salads, sushi and desserts. It may not be the absolute 5 star best, but 6 bucks for my usual 2 plates full of sushi...more
