Visiting Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

Lying in the eastern section of the Okavango Delta, the Moremi Game Reserve is often described as one of Africa's most beautiful, set amid wetlands and woodlands and containing a rich bounty of flora and fauna. The dry season (July to October) is the best time to visit, when the wildlife clusters around the area's permanent water. Mombo Concession is known as the "predator capital of Africa," with Botswana's highest concentration of lions, as well as leopards, cheetah and African wild dogs.
