The hotel is part of a larger complex set off the main road and hence feels quieter and safer than the busy city streets (Xi'an was the only place we visited in China where I did not feel comfortable...more

I had traveled with my parents to Xi'an and stayed three nights at the Sofitel. The hotel had two wings (East & West) and each had its own lobby and reception area. Our reservation did not indicate...more
