If you go to Auckland please make sure you go to Waiheke Island. Ferries run throughout the day. We visited a few wineries and cycled (almost) the whole island - We loved it. If you are an avid cycler...more

Waiheke Island is one of the largest Hauraki Gulf Islands and its a "Must Do " on your list if you have a few days in Auckland. We caught the passenger ferry over to the island from Auckland Harbour...more
