ADVICE: Change most of your spending money in a Lithuanian bank, you get much better exchange rate. In Feb, 2007 I paid £1 for 4.83 litas in Barclays here, but in Lithuania I could have got 5.49...more

We travelled with Ryanair which worked OK. Only problem was travelling to and from the airport. We arrived late on a Saturday night. All the guides say a taxi costs about 20 Litas ( £4). We could not...more
