There are only two hotels in Assen, the Van der Valk which is pricey and as soon as you leave reception it drops to 2 stars The De Jonge is not as posh, however the staff are 5 star, they are...more

Hotel is quite close to a very noisy club...very difficult to sleep with the noise (they do supply earplugs though). Note that there is no air-conditioning. more
