ラインの滝に行くためのバスが出ている町です。チューリヒから電車で来て、ラインの滝へ行く前に少し散策しました。のんびりした町並みで、通りに面した各家の出窓彫刻がとてもきれいでした。パステル調のピンクや黄色やブルーなどカラフルです。天気がよかったので屋台でイチゴやパンを買って、外で軽い昼食をとりました。とても気持ちよかったです。町の規模は小さいですが、美しい教会や劇場もあり、ライン川沿いの中都市といった感じです。 more

シュタイン・アム・ラインと並ぶ、スイスのライン川流域の町として興味を持っていましたが、特筆すべきことがない普通の町です。ラインの滝の拠点の町としての利点の方が大きいと思います。 小さな町で旧市街は徒歩での観光です。1570年に原画が書かれたフレスコ画の家・騎士の家、城塞のムノートぐらいしか見所はありません。 ラインの滝を見学の後、時間があれば町をあるいてみる、程度で十分です。 more
