We stopped here on a cruise for a day and whilst most passengers went to Berlin we opted to stay in Wernemunde and loved every minute of it. The city was quaint, the people lovely, the Bratwurst we...more

Did not know what to expect but it really was a 'gem of a place' A German choir was singing as we entered from the direction of the railway station. There were numerous bars and restaurants...more
