The roads are very rough. Start EARLY. Have plenty of time, water, food and gas. The large loop is a half day of driving. Buy the CDW from the rental company, and get a truck/jeep. Expect a few...more

RENT A TRUCK!!! preferably a 4x4. ok, to be fair, we were there over Thanksgiving, and it was rainy season, so half the park was closed. That having been said, the roads are not roads. they are...more
