The roads are very rough. Start EARLY. Have plenty of time, water, food and gas. The large loop is a half day of driving. Buy the CDW from the rental company, and get a truck/jeep. Expect a few...more

Let's be honest. This place is undeveloped cactus scrubland, hilly, and full of wild birds, lizards, and goats. It does have some great beaches and scenery, but the roads are dirt, rutted, and...more

RENT A TRUCK!!! preferably a 4x4. ok, to be fair, we were there over Thanksgiving, and it was rainy season, so half the park was closed. That having been said, the roads are not roads. they are...more
