Kenai Fjords National Park, located on the Kenai Peninsula, is a 650,000-acre park that includes the Harding Icefield, from which the Exit Glacier, a craggy blue ribbon of ice, emerges. Take a ranger-led walk along trails that cater to every ability, from an easy loop featuring panoramic views, to a more strenuous hike that rewards visitors with an encounter with the towering wall that is the Edge of the Glacier. Kenai Fjords National Park is a place where the ice age has never ended.

We had a great time at the park. It was interesting to see a glacier so close up. Some of the trails could be a little difficult for those with mobility problems. more
