Visiting Denali National Park and Preserve, AK

Denali National Park and Preserve is most famous for being the home of Mount McKinley, also called Denali, a native word meaning "The Great One." At 20,320 feet, Mount McKinley is the highest peak in North America. The Park, which is larger than the state of Massachusetts, only has one road, making it the perfect backcountry adventure. Try and spot "The Big Five": moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves and grizzly bears, or stick with more domesticated animals and visit the famous sled dog kennels.
