冬の期間だけイルミネーションを飾り、とても綺麗です。 期待はしていなかったのですが、行ってみてビックリ!! 都会にもイルミネーションで飾ってある所がありますが、ここは規模が違いますし、周りが暗いのでとても映えます。 more

家内のお供で足利に行った。以前、繊維関係の仕事で尋ねた時から疑問に思っていたが。東武伊勢崎線の足利市駅とＪＲ両毛線の足利駅が何故渡良瀬川を挟んで２ケ所にあるのかが解らない。 時間があったので2つの駅を歩いて見たが、ＪＲの駅は旧市街にはあるが駅前商店街がある様には見えないし東武の駅には観光案内所があるが街の中心として機能しているとは思えない。 埼玉県の川越にも西武、東武、ＪＲと3ヶ所あるが絹で栄えた町はそれだけの力があったのだろうか？ 次回行く機会がったら観光案内所で聞いてみたい。 more

俗に言うビジネスホテルの典型みたいなホテルです。古くて部屋もそれなりです。でもフロントのおじさん（社長？）が明るく楽しいのでちょっとホットします。朝食はサービスで無料の物と有料の物があります。私は有料の和食を食べましたがボリューム満点の朝食でした。家族で泊まるにはちょっと不向きですが出張には良いのではないかと思います。 more
