The impressive park is home to the Khmer temple ruins of Angkor Wat. Visit the Old French Quarter, with its Chinese-inspired architecture, the Tonle Sap lake bird sanctuary, rice paddies and the Old Market's craft shops and silk farms. Most sights can be explored on foot or by hiring a "motodop," a motorbike taxi and driver.
