“Moira and Noel, super hosts !!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

We stayed with Moira and Noel for a walking festival during some very bad weather. They could not have done anymore for us . Our soggy wet clothes were dried over night and folded on the sofa next morning as were our boots. The food was exceptional and the room, cosy warm and quiet, just what you need after a long walk. We will be back for the Tom Crean Festival this year and are looking forward to the craic in Hanafins Bar. Thanks for a lovely stay !

group of 7 irish friends stayed here for new years eve. The hosts were lovely....asked what time we wanted breakfast at, dried our wet clothes in the morning, gave great advice and were very welcoming. only problem was getting a taxi back to annascaul from dingle...but thats to be expected on new years eve and was not a downfall of the b&b. We would definately go back and stay at this b&b :)

Myself and a few friends decided to head to Dingle for new years eve last week, we booked three rooms in this B&B and we could not recommend it enough. Moira and Noel were exceptional hosts who looked after us so well. Knowing there would be a few sick heads in the morning Moira offered us a late breakfast which was delicious and even better considering we didnt have to get out of bed too early. There was no pressure with checking out just go when you're ready and even offered us more tea/coffee before we hit the road. What really set them apart is the fact that we got completely soaked in the rain the night before and Noel took our wet clothes and dried them for us in the dryer of their own house. The rooms themselves were lovely and clean and the showers were lovely and hot. So just to say thank you Moira and Noel for acting as mammy and daddy to a shower of eejits, who should have taken your advice and stayed in Annascaul for the night!

The B&B is more than adequate. Moira is a wonderful host and prepared a delicious breakfast. The room is small but clean and very nicely appointed. Its close proximity (easy walking distance) to the village services including the South Pole pub is a real asset.

Room Tip: The rooms upstairs are accessed via a spiral staircase so if any back/mobility issues ask for ground...

This was our first stop of a 2 week trip to Ireland. I am so happy we started with Moira & Noel. What wonderful, down to earth hosts they are. We had the place to our self for the first days and they were our extended family for those days. What hosts !!! They told us of all the treats we were in for and they did not overplay that. We had such a wonderful time with them and thank them for everything,
The 2 gals from Pa / Md Will go back again in the future for a longer stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Annascaul House. A massive peat fire was lit as soon as we arrived, making the communal sitting and TV room a really warm and relaxing place to sit. Our room was smallish but nicely furnished and comfortable. The house has been decorated to preserve its original features but with a contemporary style. Breakfast was great and Moira and Tom could not have been nicer or more helpful. The B&B is very walker-friendly and they have good local knowledge of walks. I would recommend this b&b to anyone.

Room Tip: The downstairs room is very handy for using the common room.

This is a good budget choice, especially if you want to have a pint or two at the South Pole Inn in Annascaul. Moira and her husband were incredibly nice, and they thoughtfully had a fire going when we arrived so that we could dry out our boots (I was part of a walking group). Excellent breakfast, too.
