“Annascaul House is Grand!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

Our tour placed us here for the night and a unexpected pleasure. It was a lovely, clean place to stay. Moira got up early to make us breakfast as seven a.m.! I recommend the B&B and would stay there again!

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and cosy. Great breakfast. Moira was very helpful and gave us information on what to do and see in the area. Stayed 2 nights with my husband and 2 children in a family room. Would thoroughly recommend it. Check out Inch beach. It's beautiful and of course Dingle and its famous dolphin. We had a great time.

Great place to stay for small families/couples. Ideal for short break/weekend but it seems also great as a longer term base for Dingle Penninsula exploration. Very clean and cosy.
Owners are extremely helpful, caring & friendly, the overall atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Feels like home and credits to them!
Definitely recommended!

Not far from Dingle Ring area, B&B on quiet location, very good breakfast, nice and clean rooms and very kind owners. We came very late and could not notify on it, still owner that need to wake up for us, was patient and gave us a warm wellcome.

Arrived there after à sizzling-hot day walking the Dingle Way from Camp (by the way if you are walkers like us, it's on the right hand side when you reach the village centre), were greeted by owner who showed us around albeit very quickly. The rooms are not mindblowing by any means, our window would not close and we had to call in thé owner who practically had to wrestle with it to close it, the bed was creaky, a bit small and had seen better days, though to be fair the pillows were fluffy and the sh eets were soft. A major flaw would be the lack of soundproofing, which meant that anybody coming or going sounded like they were in your own room, but it wasnt so bad as the b&b is rather small and all its guests were "grownups" minding other guests... Breakfast was spectacular. Actual coffee, fresh fruit, proper orange juice, genuine porridge, nice soda bread, yogurt, full Irish on request or eggs, it was tasty and plentiful. Overall it is still a quality b&b that we would recommend, but one has to admit the room we had could well do with a little improvement.

We stayed for two nights in July 2012.

Annascaul is a nice little town on the Dingle Peninsula with about 6 small pubs in town.

The B&B is clean, neat and has all amenities you need. The owners are very nice and accommodated our needs. The breakfast is plentiful and good.

There was an error with our booking and there was only one available when we had booked two. The owners went out of their way to make everything right for us. I would recommend this B&B strongly.

Room Tip: Ask for the downstairs room if you can't go up a steep staircase.

Annascual is a lovely village in the heart of Kerry, and great location to explore the peninsula. Be sure to check out Inch beach and Monard nearby, also a walk or cycle to Annascual lake/Tom Crean's grave (famous Antartic explorer) is worthwhile. Noel and Maire are a very welcoming natural Irish couple, and the b and b is a lovely warm and very clean house. There is also a fine breakfast each morning and a very relaxed homely atmosphere.
