“Best b&b choice, hands down!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2012

My husband, son 11, daughter 9, and myself had a delightful time at this bed and breakfast. Aine greeted us with tea and treats, my daughter was delighted with the big tv, and my son was so happy when Aine gave us access to wify within the first 5 minutes! My husband and I just enjoyed the conversation on the area and a advice on getting around.. We had two rooms and they were perfect...clean, private part of the house, the view out the front is as good as out the back!, terrific showers, and full Irish breakfast, and the best tasting brown bread in Ireland. We stayed 2 nights and I wish it could have been longer. We had not met kinder proprietors on our travels in Ireland. You can tell they enjoy their business.

Please don't confuse this B&B run by Aine Flatharta (Flaharty) and husband Joe with the hotel in town. Aine and Joe welcomed us with tea and cakes when we arrived soaking wet and without our luggage (not their mistake). It is a nice family house, and Aine makes a great Irish breakfast. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Joe keeps sheep and cattle in this rural setting.

Delightful stay! Aine is such an attentive sweet host and keeps a clean, beautiful B&B just a 10 minute walk from amazing cliff views of the western Ireland coastline. All the rooms are clean and beautifully decorated, and the breakfasts were delicious. The Dingle Peninsula has a special Gaelic emphasis and Aine wonderfully lived it for us through her delightful accent, house decor, and times of conversation. Would love to return some day.

Aine kindly drove into Dingle and met us so we could follow her to her B&B which is located several miles away from Dingle. The landscape surrounding the B&B is stunning and it's easy to understand why several well known movies were filmed in the area surrounding Aine's B&B. Aine is such a gracious and warm hostess and the two rooms for our family of four were very clean and comfortable. Each of our rooms had it's own bathroom. Aine served us cake, cookies and tea after we arrived and the next morning we enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast. Aine's hospitality, the cleanliness of the rooms, the lovely breakfast and the spectacular views made this a memorable stay at Ceann Sibeal B&B.

My son and I (from UK) spent two nights at Ceann Sibbeal B&B on our family history tour of West and Southern Ireland. Don't confuse this lovely B&B with the hotel of same name in the nearby village of Ballyferriter.

Although it's right on on the main loop road around the Dingle Peninsula, it was surprisingly peaceful there both day and night. Great views too - the picture used on their website is only a very short drive away, as is the beautiful Clogher Beach if you want perfect sand between your toes while you paddle in the Atlantic Ocean, as we did after driving down an anonymous lane one sunny afternoon.

Rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and the tasty cooked breakfasts will set you up for the day. Your host Ann goes that extra mile to help you enjoy your stay - you can come and go as you please without any fuss. Easy on-site parking.

This is one of Ireland's Gaelic speaking areas - but everyone speaks English just fine, so contacting Ann via email or phone to set up your stay is absolutely no problem at all.

For a simple, unhurried, relaxing stay we would recommend Ceann Sibeal B&B without
hesitation.

We stayed for 9 nights with a small group. Ann (English pronunciation) is an excellent hostess. Bed made and clean towels every day (even when not needed!), saw to it that damp washed clothes were dried when we returned. Wonderful breakfasts with choices besides the traditional Irish breakfast (including porridge with Bailey's!, smoked salmon, wonderful yogurt with sliced fruit plate). Clean, well-maintained rooms. Across the road from the bay, great views, short walk to the beach. At most 4 miles to Ballyferriter. Perhaps a 15 minute drive into Dingle.

This one is the B&B, not to be confused with the hotel of the same name in Ballyferriter. Beautiful views and a unique choice of breakfasts with the usual full Irish breakfast, or porridge (with Baileys!) or yogurt with sliced fruit-my favorite--delicious! Fine hostess in Ann O'Flaherty, a native Irish (Gaelic) speaker.
