“A home away from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

We stayed here for two nights and wished that we could stay longer. It is well located right on the Bussell Highway just north of Cowaramup, but there was no noticeable traffic noise at night. The gardens are quite lovely and each room has a private little courtyard which opens on to a garden. The room was very comfortable and although we spent most of our time touring, returning to our room each night was like returning home. We particularly liked the attention to detail in the room and the little knick knacks which made the room feel comfy. Donna and Rod, the owners/managers are lovely people who go out of their way to look after their guests, and the freshly-made muffins for breakfast were delicious. Margaret River was just an eight minute drive away, and the nearest wineries, cheese factories and chocolate factories are just minutes away.

A good website helped us to home in on the Noble Grape, and it lived up to expectations. Our first visit to the region, so we didn't know what was coming our way. Donna and Rod are welcoming hosts offering comfort and hospitality in a lovely little spot. Their place is set in a beautiful garden and although it's close to the busy Bussell Highway, it isn't noisy. We had various treats while there - we enjoyed the food in La Vaca Loca, a starlit picnic on our little patio under a fantastic clear sky, Donna's creative jewellery which supplied a few Christmas presents, visiting birds every morning. The room was very comfy and the breakfast generous. Donna and Rod offered help and advice when asked and were on hand every morning for a chat and a catch up. Although Cowaramup hasn't got a great deal for the evenings, Margaret River is very close (12km) and has plenty on offer for a lively evening if that's what you want. On the other hand - it couldn't be more central for all the places to visit in the area. We loved it and heartily recommend it to all travellers. Oh, and try for lunch at Cullens and a sunset on a beach - we especially loved Yallingup as we saw whales from the shore.

Room Tip: We were in No 1 so only had neighbours on one side. Not that anyone was noisy.

We stayed at the Noble Grape Guesthouse for 3 nights last week and throughly enjoyed our time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The Guesthouse is very well situated and close to many of the wineries in the region. In fact, we thought that you are closer there than if you stay in Margaret River township. Donna & Rod could not have been more helpful and friendly and their breakfasts are delicious. We would highly recommend a stay with them. They recommended a restaurant to us within walking distance of the Guesthouse called The Art Cafe which we visted in two occasions during out stay. The food was absolutely delicious and we highly recommend a visit or two if you are in the area.

We weren't sure what to expect, as we had chosen the Noble Grape from our guidebook whilst staying in Perth. What a lovely surprise we had. The hosts could not have been more welcoming; nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated and the bathroom spotlessly clean and immaculately appointed. The patio area outside our room was a bonus, as were the lovely gardens.

Breakfast was great and Rod should start a business selling his muffins!

All in all, couldn't fault it and we wished we had been able to stay for longer.

Had two nights here at the start of our trip from Perth to the South West. Extremely comfortable, clean and spacious room with own patio area. Lovely to sit in the garden early evening and watch the birds feed. Close to the main road but not noisy. Ate both evenings at a newly opened Fork and Fiz(?)BYO. Excellent food though they couldn't at that time accept credit cards which was a nuisance. Great to be close to Margaret River yet away from the loads of tourists who were around there. Visited Augusta, Cape Leuwin and the Jewel Cave, all of which were well worthwhile though for a first visit to this area you should include a guided wine tour. Beautiful coastline and countryside.

My first review which I felt compelled to write as tripadvisor led me to this wonderful B n B. Stayed 2 nights, wish it was longer. Immaculate, very comfortable room, with your own back patio area. Very comfy bed with plenty of decent pillows! It's 10 mins from M.River and many of the great wineries in the region. Beaches and other attractions a little further away but all within 1/2 hours drive. Room facilities are excellent incl microwave and dishes/cutlery if you wish to eat in. Amenities provided are exellent....even a full bar of soap, :) Nice little touches in the room to make you feel comfortable. Hosts, Donna & Rod are very friendly and helpful & address you by name and take a genuine interest in you and your holiday. They provide plenty to eat at breakfast; all healthy (which you need after indulging in the fine wines and other gourmet delights in the region) . Our personal recommendation for fine dining in the region is to lunch at at one of the wineries and eat in for dinner. We found it hard to find a decent meal in the evening from M. River through to Dunsborough but to be fair we didn't try the local one(s) in Cowaramup. The words..."guest house" is 'spot on' in the name as we truly felt like guests. Stayed 9th & 10th March 2011. Wish it was longer. Thanks Donna & Rod for a peaceful, comfy stay. We truly hope to be back.

We stayed for three nights in a spacious King room which was nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed. Great hosts Donna & Rod could not have been accommodating and laid on a lovely spread for breakfast in the large dining area. In the evening it was nice to sit out in the pleasant gardens and have a drink of wine (bought from one of the local wineries) and chat to the other guests, Donna & Rod even supplied a BBQ. The Noble Grape is a good place to stay if you want to visit the wineries, Bunker Bay or Busselton.
Highly recommended we would definately stay there again.
