The last two reviews were critical of Los Alinos de Yiyo. However, my experience of the restaurant has always been positive. It has a lively informal bar, with excellent affordable tapas to choose from + an interior designed, restaurant next door offering good taster menu options, as well as a more normal starter, main course, pudding choices.
The food is Spanish with a Murcian twist and is a very pleasant change from the more predictable options one gets in so many restaurants - their house salad, black pudding and tempura are all really good. As for wine, it's so refreshing to see a well thought out list, which is devoid of the usual, obvious names. Prices are reasonable.
Finally, the staff, I've alwys found them friendly, helpful and professional. Plus the owner runs the bar, so he's on top of everything! All in all, probably the best restaurant in Los Belones and well worth a visit - best after 9pm, as this is when the local people start to eat and the atmosphere builds!!
