Our second visit to this hotel, as stated before
"beautiful drive up from the road to horwood house, stunning looking country style manor."
our check in was friendly but also professional,
(reception very helpful on a number of occasions)
clean and tidy but a little on the small size for two adults, very small bed.
(didn't remember the bed being this small)
service good, nice surrounding, in modern bar / function room friday night,
bar prices very very expensive !!!
£10.40 for two x one shot of bacardi & 1 small bottle of coke,
Breakfast was very good both days of our stay with good service.
Evening Meal Friday the food in general was of a good standard
my wife loved her risotto but service lacked alittle,
we where never served bread & dips before our starter,
but every table that came in around us were,
our waiter seemed to become the wine waiter,
and we were left for a long period of time,
between starters and mains.
I think the kitchen must have chased up on our table,
another waiter then, cleared & served us.
pool, sauna & gym all quite good, looks like a better effort on cleaning this area is taking place, pool area seemed cleaner and felt more inviting.
jacuzzi not working nad has not been for a while (was here last june)
thinks its time to stop advertising jacuzzi!!
bill was wrong as was on our last visit but staff sorted efficently and correctly.
we did enjoy our stay and new the hotel we were coming, with think the hotel is improving in a few little ways, staff generally are far more freindly and helpful, and for what we paid we are happy.

I have shared your feedback with our Restaurant Manager who will review the restaurant staff training procedures to ensure that our guests receive the highest level of customer service when dining in the restaurant in the future and I can only apologise that you experienced a delay whilst dining with us.
