“Simple and clean with a lovely view and location, close to an small village”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

We enjoyed our visit. The owners have worked very hard to build and establish this new B and B.Chaeli is very friendly and personable and Cele loves the plants in the garden! The rooms are simple and spacious and nicely decorated. A chair or two inside the room would be nice. The light Continental breakfast served on the patio was welcome. There is a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the village from the patio. We liked the simplicity and cleanliness of the rooms and the whole place. Definitely worth considering staying here.

Room Tip: The wifi seemed to work fairly well in Room 4, closest to the office and router/modum.

We selected this location after reading TripAdvisor reviews and it was a wise decision. Our room was very clean and everything is in good repair. Bedding very comfortable and location was great. We really enjoyed the included breakfasts on our patio. Breakfasts included great local coffee, fresh fruit and juice, as well as a freshly prepared entree (loved the pineapple pancakes). We also tried their "No Fuss" dinner one evening which was inexpensive and tasty. A small refrigerator in the office stocked with juice, soft drinks, and beer operated on the "honor system" was a nice convenience. The owners were attentive and very helpful. We will definitely visit again if we are in the area.

PS. Don't miss the "Coffee Tour" they offer even if you don't stay here. Really informative and enjoyable.

Room Tip: We preferred the room with air conditioning but the ceiling fan is probably adequate most of the tim...

We found this little B&B by accident as our original B&B was fully booked. Coffee Mountain Inn is not to be found in the Lonely Planet but it definately should be. The rooms were lovely and the view from the breakfast patio is amazing! We stayed for two nights but could have stayed longer for sure.

We loved the view from our perfect room. A lot of birds just flying by your own private terrace. The owners are very friendly and can help arrange hikes to waterfalls, horseriding (like we did:definitely fun) and you can also go swimming in beautiful rivers. The only thing we regretted is that we were only here for 2 nights. Santa Fe is also a beautiful and friendly village.

If you enjoy clear burbling rivers and waterfalls, exploring back roads, walking sylvan trails, watching Cloud TV, and debating "glade? or glen?" "vale? or valley?"...you might love this simple little inn as much as we did. The property and rooms are immaculate and the beds are very comfortable. The "no fuss meals" served on your patio at sunset (only $7.00 at this writing) are truly delicious; what a bargain! The breakfasts (included) are equally so. We brought our "high mountain" (e.g. around Volcan) clothing for chilly nights, but never needed it; perfect temperatures for the duration of our stay. Yes, the Wi-Fi reception in the rooms is lacking, but there is too much to do and see to stay in your room. (Only a better reading light by the beds would have improved our experience.) The back road drives and trails walks were a-m-a-z-i-n-g. DO drive the new road (currently in superb condition) toward the Caribbean (Calovebora). The sights and scenery are astounding. Stop along the way to see the petroglyphs and enjoy the swimming holes near the gushing cascades. If you like to forage-for-fruit, bring a container. Oranges, clementines, grapefruit, and bananas were plentiful in February. Soon, papayas and mangoes. Loved this place! P.S. On the drive up, DO stop to see the unique and colorful one-of-a-kind historic church in San Francisco.

Nice and clean rooms, great food and a helpfull owner! We did the inner tube raft. The owner took us there in his 4x4. Enjoyed the 'No fuzz meals' a lot! Great quality for a good price. Great service! Good Wifi. No problem to adjust your breakfast, just ask.
