the venue is old but quite unique. Probably a heritage listed building. Very good for parking and plenty of restaurants nearby and the train is just a 5 minute walk too.

“Most uncomfortable seats of any theatre”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

The uncomfortable seats were a distraction in the show. If you are sitting in row g I suggest having a very well padded butt or take a cushion. There is no foam between you and the springs, only thin fabric. I recognise it is old and an icon but you still need to be able to focus on the show.

“We must never lose this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Gorgeous old theatre, steeped in history, Yes the seats are worn and the floorboards creak, but what a pleasure it is to step back into a world where everything isn't shiny and electric and the performers have more freedom.
