We were very fortunate to find this amazing little restaurant in the Main Road of Darling on a wet, cold day, but the interior warmth , friendliness and food changed all that !!!!
From the outset we knew we had found a gem in the town – the friendly cosy atmosphere together with the log fire was most welcome .
We had a fairly long wait for our food ( but had to remember that all is prepared from scratch ) but the 3 of us enjoyed the wine and warmth whist waiting BUT the wait was well worth it.!!
The 250 g fillet steak which I had looked far more than this quantity ( and the price was amazingly reasonable as well ) and was cooked perfectly and the country vegetables were also delicious and generous in portion. Certainly one of the best steaks I have enjoyed for a long time and I would return for this over and over again.
The other 2 in our party were also extremely satisfied with their meals .
I rounded off the meal with their amazing chocolate tart – wonderful if you like something really sweet . The dessert menu had a good few options , by the way.
We would not wish to eat anywhere else in Darling and strongly recommend “ Bistro Seven ‘ for the discerning diner – you will not be disappointed !
