“Nicest Hotel in the World”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

This hotel was by far the classiest place I have ever stayed in - everything from the beds, to the staff, the rooms, the pools, the food...it was all beyond expectation! My partner and I were treated so kindly by everyone we encountered and it was truly one of the best holiday experiences of my life! Would LOVE to go back again sometime!

The first time having day use room in dead sea, when we enter the hotel the security didn't allowed us to have our drink inside why i don't know if i book room the hotel should didn't let me drink what they wont. anyhow we enjoy the pools and the beach.

the pools was clean and nice and the service was amazing also.

will come back but please let us drink or eat what we want not what you want.

When I booked Marriott in Dead Sea I accepted wow service, because the terrace room didn't worse advertisement and it didn't appear to me the way I imagined :(
My friends who came to drop us were stopped by the gate and had to pay 60 JD just to enter, so it was surprising. No welcome drink or towels on check in. Every 5 star hotel has got this simple service. Nobody escorted us to the room and we got lost twice. In the room only one slippers and 1 bathrobe was placed in spite I have clearly mentioned in my reservation 2 persons. There was not Turn down service in the evening, nobody came to refresh the bathroom and place fruits or chocolate on the bed. Disappointing. Our room keys were not working twice and we got stuck by the door until technician came to fix it. Champions where we came to dine was very poor with service. We ordered appetizer and they brought it after 20 min with main dish. Table was cleaned properly after several reminders. On the other note I would admit service of Asian colleagues in the Acacia lounge was faultless, they were well groomed and very attentive to our needs. Director of Restaurants who met us twice during our short get away was also very pleasant and professional. I work in hospitality and stayed in many hotel around the world including several hotels in Amman and Aqaba but the first time I am raising such kind of comments which defiantly need attention of the Management and improvements.

Overall it was a very nice stay. Who would not love the Dead Sea view, one in a million. The sea was awesome, the spa was relaxing, the staff in the spa was great. Upon checkin I was informed that I was upgraded, nice surprise. The rooms could have been cleaner but it was a easy fix...I just called to let housekeeping know. The balcony was obviously used by a smoker, there where still buds on the ground along with an ashtray.(by the way it was a non-smoking room)

I would recommend the Hertz driver Ali (aka NASCAR Ali)...he was very helpful with touring and places that the average tourist would not see. so if you are in Jordan ask for Ali. He was awesome. you can book thru the hotel. Most of all enjoy the sunset.

What can I say about the Marriott at the Dead Sea....what a truly beautiful hotel. A once in a lifetime experience being at the lowest place on earth below sea level...... the hotel is spectacular with a huge pool, amazing views, a fabulous bar with gorgeous cocktails,,,,, it just couldn't have been any better..... we spent the day by the pool, chilling, drinking wine in the sun, (fabulous waiters on rollerskates so you never have to wait long to be served).then headed down the steps to the sea. Floated around for a while, covered ourselves in mud (well done Marriott for providing free shoes for the stony sea), then back up to the bar to sip cocktails and look out at the glorious view.... followed by a delicious meal at the American Diner (can't remember the name of it) but amazing food..... will definitely be back....

We stayed here for 5 nights. So much to do like spa, gym, pools . Very clean and pretty hotel. It was just right for relaxing. So many choices of pools. The gym is well equipped and very clean. The sauna and steam room was very spacious and there are little luxuries like cold flannel, mouthwash , body cream , etc.To enter the spa you must pay about 23 US dollar per person/per day little bit expensive,158US Dollar for 45 minutes massage, the gym is free of charge. There is car rental place (Hertz). There were no cars available to hire from.you can hire a driver and he can take you where you want, the rate is very expensive also about 150 US dollar from the hotel to Amman the capital which is about 50KM only. The food is excellent at breakfast and dinner; we had breakfast and dinner included in the package, the food&drink is very expensive about 5US Dollar for soft drink& 28US dollar for hamborger and potato chips,.Staff is very lovely&helpfull 10X.
A great idea for the management is to consider the idea of full board or all inclusive package.
we stay for 4-9 june 2013

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel! I loved every minute spent there! The rooms are great, the Breakfast was amazing! I was especially in love with the spa. Friendly staff. I was just sorry that I didn't stay longer and had to leave after only one night.
