We went to the cheese factory right after new years, expecting to pay the $10 for the tour. We were then told that the price of the tour had increased by $2 as it was the new year. A 20% increase seems quite hefty, if you ask me.
The tour itself was informative, though there isn't a whole lot to see. We walked around for a bit and spent the second half of the tour watching a slideshow on the history of the factory.
The guide wasn't very good. She was clearly in a rush to get the tour over and done with and seemed annoyed that she had to do the tour in both English and Spanish.
I found the cheeses that were available for sale to be quite pricey.
They do, however, have really good ice cream.
