We ate a late lunch at Johnny's, which is a short five minute walk from the El Establo hotel. There was only one other table occupied when we arrived (about 2pm). The waiter was very polite and efficient. We ordered a Monteverde pizza, which was outstanding (The sauce was great). They also bring you garlic bread for an appetizer while we waited for our food. The prices were reasonable. If we had spent more time in the area, I would definitely have gone back to eat there again. If you walk up to the main entrance and it looks like it is closed, walk around the down hill side to the side entrance. I think the upstairs is more of a formal dining area open only in the evening.
