Recently enjoyed an overnight stay at Avocado Grove on Valentines night, the perfect spot as so close to all the great restaurants, venues and shopping. The African suite was beautifully decorated true to the theme, all that was missing was a couple of Elephants and Buck grazing on the lawn, but the beautiful birdsong made up for it. Our hosts, Sonya and John laid on an excellent, healthy home cooked brekkie which was thoroughly enjoyed, only topped by John's pleasant nature and helpfulness, we felt very at home and will certainly stay here again....excellent value for money!

Only an overnight stay for a wedding at Flaxton Gardens. Upon arrival I immediately wished I had planned to stay longer. Beautiful views, relaxed and friendly surrounds, delicious breakfast & individually wrapped take home care packages (i.e. the avocados I eagerly picked and took home) together with warm and inviting hosts, John and Sonya made for an absolutely flawless and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be coming back and staying again.

We stayed at Avocado Grove for three nights to attend a wedding nearby. We took over the whole house and had an amazing stay! All the rooms were lovely with top quality linen, towels, toiletries etc etc. The house, views and the gardens were beautiful. Our hosts John and Sonya were wonderful and could not do enough for us. The breakfasts were legendary and we also had a great meal one evening. I would definitely recommend a stay here so don't miss out if you are in the area. Thanks John and Sonya for being such great hosts.

Stayed overnight for a wedding nearby at Flaxton Gardens. Even though our stay was shorter than what we would have likes, the service was fantastic and so was the breakfast John made for us the next morning. Set in a beautiful peaceful location, a perfect holiday spot for couples and only 20mins drive from the Sunshine Coast and shopping. Would highly recommend.

We attended our daughter's wedding nearby and stayed for 3 nights at Avocado B&B out of sheer good luck via Wotif.
Excellent location with beautiful views, lovely rooms and breakfasts by John to die for! The hosts John and Sonya made us feel very welcome and comfortable and were more than willing to go the "extra mile' to ensure we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Next time we'll try the "African" room downstairs.

We attended a wedding nearby and stayed at Avocado Grove B&B based on a friend's recommendation. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully furnished and maintained, and the location on the fringes of bushland is charming and relaxing.
What really sets this place apart though are the hosts, John and Sonya. Their friendly, welcoming manner and fantastic service made us feel as though we were staying with friends or family. We spent many happy hours socializing on the verandah with our hosts and fellow guests, and can't wait to come back again. John's home-cooked breakfast is delicious and an absolute must if you stay there.
Definitely the best B&B experience we ever had!
