On our 3 week trip with our group of 8 we spent 2 nights at the beautifully located Estuary Country Hotel where we were warmly welcomed by Anton who just started at the managing postion of the Hotel. He is very helpfull and managed to organize a worthwhile 3 hour trip for our group to a nearby coffee plantation. The rooms inside the hotel are spacious but are in need of small renovation, cracks in wall paint and need definitely more furniture. Our room had apart from a bed, bedside tables, couch and the ever-present TV almost no furniture. The furniture came clearly from different places and times and needs a make-over. Views from the room are direct on the lagoon and are exceptional! We had the first evening a fantastic diner. Deliciously cooked and prepared. The second night the quality was less good but also decent quality and taste. Breakfast and the service of the waiters is good. Maybe the chef of our first night's diner was off? The walk around the estuary was great but unfortunedly there is a lot of rubbish that the ocean washes ashore.
