“Perfect place to relaxe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

We and our 2 chidren of 9 and 10 spent her one week in oktober 2012. The wheather was perfect, 28 degrees, sunny, hot! An indoor swimming pool, right beside te outdoor pool. Mini-Club, table tennis, good food. Enough space around the swimming pool.
The matresses in your bedroom were a little hard, but we slept wel anyway. Not too many shops around, side is gooed, belek and Kemer are better places too stroll along the beach. Stones on the beach in stead of sand, not easy too walk on. Take water shoes with you.

Stayed for 1 week 5th to 12th Oct. Room clean and well furnished, but I'm not sure about the dolphin lamps, mini bar kept stocked with beer soft drinks and chocolate , bed comfortable. Food excellent with ala carte also very good. Staff hard working and friendly but only a few who spoke any english but they always got the message in the end. Entertainment was good but the language is russian/german but you get the guist.
Pools were very clean but very cold , the staff around the pool were very good and keep you supplied with everthing you need. Beach full of pebbles , you can get in the sea via the pontoon but when i was there it was pretty choppy. Overall great hotel not so good beach but what can they do about that.

I travelled with my husband and my 4 year old daughter. It was our first family holiday in over 5 years. We stayed at the Delphin DeLuxe resort and it was the most wonderful experience of my life. From the moment we got there to the moment we left. We arrived quite late and our transfer was waiting outside with a name card as soon as we arrived. It was a little mini bus and it was just us 3 on it. We were greeted with a nice cold drink as it was really hot, even at that time in the night. The transfer is around an hour. The driving in turkey is a bit crazy but other than that it was fine. When we arrived at the hotel it was buzzing with people drinking around the lobby. I have to say that the hotel looks just like it does on the website. We were greeted with cocktails.
I was not happy with the location of the room as I was worried about the noise as my little girl is a light sleeper. 3rd time lucky and the room was amazing.
I would not know how to begin to describe how amazing the food was, how much food was available, how hard working, and helpful all the staff are. I never left the resort for the whole 10 days I was there and there is plenty of entertainment for you and the little ones. I would defiantly recommend Delphin resorts to any family looking for a relaxing holiday. The only bad thing is that the beach is a pebble beach, but the water is so warm it is lovely. The water slides, the fun fair, and the kid’s entertainment were fantastic. The kids’ club staffs are amazing as well. The hotel is so clean and I never once saw a fly or any other insects. I could go on forever how amazing it was. I am already looking at booking again. The whole experience was worth every penny. Thankyou Delphin.

Excellent hotel; dedicated, enthusiastic staff, nothing too much trouble. Wonderful food, entertainment team very hard working, plenty to do. I'm not sure if 'gala night' is a weekly thing but if so, Do not miss it! We were all inclusive - drinks very good not the often experienced local watery types. We will definately return.

Room Tip: sea views with balcony recommended Take euros, take turkish Lira for tipping

We travelled as a group of three families, with 10 people in total - 7 of us travelled a couple of days earlier and the other 3 joined us later.

We are all vegetarians.

The resort is about 1.25 hours from Antalya airport by private transfer, which was a pleasant surprise as we had allowed about 2 hours.

Although both of our check-ins were very late at night, we were greeted by friendly English speaking reception staff. Check-in/wrist banding was relatively quick although the explanations of the hotel facilities necessarily took some time.

Dinner for the night had finished, but we were still directed to the main restaurant where drinks and a platter of food each were served. Unfortunately, the platters were unsuitable for vegetarians and there was no alternative platter available. However, we were advised that we would be able to order from the room service menu from midnight and the wait was not too long. In fact, we later discovered that cakes etc were available in the Oriental Cafe/Patiserrie, but the hotel staff were not to know that we would have been happy with this rather than cooked food.

Our rooms were a good size and I believe that this is the standard size, easily accommodating two adults and two children (or leaving a sofa available if the family is smaller). Although we had not paid for such, we even had a sea/pool view from the smallish balcony.

Room service and the contents of the mini-bar are all included in the hotel's all inclusive package, which was a welcome change from other 5 star hotels we have stayed at.

We had a good night's sleep in beds which we found comfortable and in a room where the air conditioning worked well and was not noisy. The bathroom was well equipped so you do not even need to pack your toothbrush (but gents do take your shaving equipment). If you like towels can be changed every day and the arrangements that the room attendant makes with the towels are a delight.

Breakfast includes a good variety of cereals, a large selection of breads, fresh and dried fruit and nuts, cooked foods including omelettes and waffles prepared to your requirements and some cooked meat dishes. There is a babies section with a bottle warmer and a selection of proprietary bottled foods suitable for weaning babies. I did not note whether milk powder was also provided. High-chairs are available.

There is also a separate area with toddler sized tables and chairs, including foods that are likely to appeal to them.

At the weekends, there is even champagne/buck's fizz available for breakfast and for those that like to get up late, a mini breakfast is served right up to 11am.

Even thereafter, some bites/drinks can be had from the lobby/cafe/patisserie.

There are four pools:
The main pool with a lot of sunbeds/umbrellas around it. Many of the entertainment activities through the day take place here, but English is not the primary language.
A relax pool which is quieter. The sunbeds here include Bali-houses that can accommodate a small family.
A toddler's pool which is well shaded and has plenty of sunbeds for the parents around it.
The indoor pool and jacuzzi - These were a little cold for our liking, but at this time of year I would not class this as a major issue.

There are also a number of sunbeds and Bali-houses at the beach - unfortunately the strip just
above and below the water-line is pebbly.

Overall, although the hotel was close to full, there were enough sunbeds to cope. The sun-beds cannot be booked without a person present before 8.30am, which I think works well. Every few hours, water, iced tea and a small selection of drinks are wheeled around the pool area and twice-a-day there are also cold carrots, cucumbers and apples peeled, seasoned and served close to your sun-bed.

It is not possibly to order food to the sunbeds, but a number of bars close to the various pools serve some food and drink, including a range of cocktails and mocktails.

The spa is spacious, but the changing rooms are not. The steam room was not working for the duration of our stay, but the saunas and hammam were. The massage treatments are not included in the all inclusive package and are quite pricey. We did not try them.

The buffet lunch and dinner have a good mix of cooked foods, salads and desserts with enough choice to satisfy even us vegetarians. Unfortunately, it is not clear from the dish labelling which dishes are meat/fish free so fellow vegetarians will soon adopt our habit of touring round the dishes with a chef in tow, although English is not always spoken and one of us has a nut allergy to complicate matters even further. We have suggested an improvement to the dish labelling with a green V for the vegetarian dishes, so hopefully this will be taken up by the hotel group. Guest relations (English speaking) will be able to organise for a vegetarian main dish to be served at your table, but this does entail having meals to a time-table. (There are also a number of parts of the dining area set aside for speciality "restaurants").

The evening entertainment at the amphitheatre is somewhat variable and even the best is not as good as at some other Turkish hotels that we have been to. You will also need to get there well before the show starts to get good seats. We did not visit the night-club. Most of the games room activities require extra payment.

Wi-fi is included, but the speed and reliability of connection vary with where you are in the hotel; there is also a well-equipped gym.

When the second part of our group arrived, the air conditioning did not work in the first room they were allocated, so their first night was uncomfortable. Fortunately, following an ineffective repair, it proved possible to move to another room.

A market assembles across the main road from the hotel on Fridays, but prices are much worse than those that can be obtained if you are willing to take one of the free shuttles to neighbouring towns such as Alanya organised by the hotel.

A couple of words of caution for the English - the hotel is not currently frequented by many English speakers. If you usually make friends on holiday, that might well be more difficult. Also, the concept of queueing/giving way is not as prevalent in the world as we are used to! Apart from reception and guest relations, most of the staff also do not speak English.

Overall, would we go back again? Definitely as the hotel has "service with a smile". Although I have only rated this with four circles, I would have given 4.5 if I could and would probably have given five if I was not a vegetarian.

Really great hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by several different members of staff...checked in very quickly and taken to our room. We booked a side sea view room but were upgraded to a full sea view room which was great. Views were amazing. Staff very friendly and couldnt do enough to help you. There are 2 pools, 1 has animation team nearby which is very noisy n lively whereas the other pool is a relaxing pool which is nice and quiet. My only gripe with the relaxing pool was that I wasn't allowed my lilo in this pool, even though I was only relaxing on it!!! The a la carte restaurants were excellent and well worth a visit. There were only 2 English families there during our stay and the hotel tended to favour other nationalities, such as russian. Entertainment wasn't great but there were plenty of other areas to go in the evening. Overall though this was a great hotel and would definately return there next year.

Room Tip: Choose Sea View room as you can see very little of the sea from the side sea rooms. View from rooms...

We (2 adults+2 children) arrived at the hotel in the first week of August at around 10.00pm. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us much appreciated cold drinks as we checked in. A light supper was prepared for us in the restaurant after we had been shown to our room.

The hotel deserves its 5 stars. The room was clean, spacious and nicely furnished with a well stocked mini bar. There is a wide choice of good quality food at the main restaurant with the option of Chinese, Turkish, Mexican and other ethnic dishes at other smaller restaurants in the complex.

Our kids spent most of their time on the pool slides during the day and at the small fairground in the evenings (especially the dodgem cars). The main entertainment takes place in the hotel ampi-theatre. There were some really good acts with plenty of staff serving drinks throughout the performances. They have a 'Gala Performance' once a week around the main pool. It's a great evening of entertainment with an amazing fireworks performance at the end.

The hotel staff were polite, courteous and well organised. There were various snack bars dotted around the hotel grounds and at the 'relaxation pool area' they regularly appeared with a trolley packed with beer, wine, soft drinks and fruit. They even offer to clean your sunglasses for you!

The beach is only a few minutes walk away with bali huts and a carpeted walkway to avoid having to walk on the pebbles but we spent most of our time around the 2 outside pools or cooling off in the inside pool area. There are also bali huts situated around the relaxation pool area and they provide a welcome break from the heat (it was in the nineties) and a good place to read. You have to book them at 8.30am but we never had a problem.

The staff try very hard to make sure you have everything you need and this really helped in making our holiday so enjoyable. We were a little surprised by the absence of other English holiday makers. The hotel tends to attract a majority of German and Russian guests and the downside is that you tend not to make too many friends and when the evening entertainment is 'audience interactive' it is all presented in German or Russian.

Despite this we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely return again.

Room Tip: The rooms located over the main pool area are also just above one of the bars that provides live ent...
