We are SPG gold members and chose this hotel when our reservations at the Le Meridien Brussels were cancelled when the hotel was abruptly closed about a month ago. Although we were very disappointed to not be in the City Centre in easy walking distance to The Grand Place and other fun areas to walk, the Aloft turned out to be a nice hotel to at which to stay. The front desk staff were lovely and very helpful with check in and travel advice (as they are the concierges too). We enjoyed the breakfast offered for a reasonable price. We had to take a taxi to The Grand Place and Central train station as it was a bit too far to walk, but our overall stay at the Aloft was a pleasant one. The rooms are on the larger size and well appointed. We found the beds to be very comfortable and it was the only hotel during our trip that really did come through with adjoining rooms for our family.
