“Great take away”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

Had a pizza, garlic bread & pasta. All great quality, although not big serves. Fast take away service - 10 minutes.

“Expensive and "just okay"”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

Expensive with alright food. My pasta was a bit greasy and had more garnishes that I anticipated. Good location though; a walk away from the beach.

“Disappointing how they try scam the customer with hidden charges”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013 via mobile

I went to this place a few weeks ago and was instantly impressed by the warm atmosphere. We had a birthday dinner here and the food was nice- lovely pizzas but the service was shockingly slow around 45 mins to get mains. Being a guest at a birthday dinner no one was likely to complain but I thought the wait was ridiculous. The meal went swimmingly apart from that until there came the time to pay: I was OUTRAGED! This "family" restaurant charged $8 a bottle PER bottle corkage! Which is outrageous and unheard of around sydney, expect to pay $2-3 if charged at all. Six bottles left is with a fee of nearly $50 in corkage alone. Oh yes and ever heard of CAKAGE? Me neither until I ventured to Pompei, simply for giving each of us a saucer to eat a piece of cake off we were charged $2 a head. Taking charges for literally nothing added onto bill to nearly $70! They didn't even cut the cake we were charged this for plate usage- have you ever? Won't be returning...and certainly never go here for a birthday if you intend in bringing a cake.

“Does what it says on the tin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

We ordered a couple of pizzas and sautéed chicory. The pizzas were good, thin crisp and fresh. The chicory was not what I know as chicory - more like greens - but that might be an Aussie-UK thing. The service was good and the atmosphere pleasant enough. This isn't somewhere to rave about but good solid fare.

“Pretty average, better choices nearby”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013 via mobile

We live in Bondi and couldn't remember why we never go here so we took some close friends recently. Then we remembered that it is fine, nothing memorable but there's better pizza and pasta to be had nearby (in our opinion)
