“Paradise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

What a fantastic location, the room we had was amazing, 4 poster bed, spotless clean, large shower and the most beautiful large balcony. the private beach is paradise, you can sit and eat your meals and watch the turtles swimming. The food was amazing, very tasty and plenty of it, all taste can be accomodated, all at a veryy reasonable price, you would not be dissapointed with this little bit of paradise called Beach Inns.

The best part of my trip to Sri Lanka. Ended up staying here for 5 days. Rooms were simple but perfect for us, with a balcony and view over the private beach. You can see the turtles popping up in high tide. The location is nice and quiet but still within easy reach of Matara or Mirissa by tuk tuk. We hired a scooter for the 5 days and ventured up the coast. Indika and his staff are amazing and helpful, recommending loads of attractions around the area. A real find - pure paradise!!

First visit to Sri Lanka and absolutely delighted with our stay at the Beach Inns. The hotel situation is perfect, three steps and you are on the beach! We stayed in the Malee Villa which was just across the road from the main hotel, beautiful rooms with hot water showers. There are rooms to suit all budgets in the hotel and the dining area which is open with views directly onto the ocean serves lovely Sri Lankan and European food. It is all too easy to just spend the days lazing on the lovely beach next to the hotel, but with help from Indika and Fiona we managed to visit lots of local tourist attractions and the real holiday highlight was a half day safari to Yala National Park. If you enjoy wildlife, turtles swim in front of the hotel every day! Lovely friendly family run hotel.

Located right on their own beach, this place is a real find. You can spot turtles whilst having dinner, or from your own hammock. The location is quiet and close to Matara, and the staff will help recommend tours.

Room Tip: Bird island trip was really good

My wife and I stayed here for a week last month before going up country. We couldn't believe how beautiful the location was. It is right on the beach - in fact the patio extends to the sea at high tide. Lovely sandy each on either side. It's on a quiet little road but not far from the nearest town Matara - £1.50 by three-wheeled 'tuk tuk' taxi. Our room had fan only but with the balcony doors open to let the sea breeze in it was quite comfortable. Most rooms have a/c tho'. Food was great (Sri Lankan or European). Staff very attentive. Indika and Fiona organised tours to local places of interest. We had to keep pinching ourselves to see if it was all a dream!!

Beach Inns has nice clean rooms and is in a great location right on the beach. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They were very helpful in organizing trips round the local area. Overall a very relaxing place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Lovely little place. Own private beach and you see turtles just off the beach taking quick breaths. The rooms on the sea front are great. You can sit on your balcony and stare out to sea with Palm trees blowing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It's very quiet and far enough out the city. Lovely little place.
